Andrea Anders
Anders, who was raised and born at Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. She graduated from DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. After that, in 1997 she earned an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders was with Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until the year 2015. They met on filming of Joey the show that ended in a sitcom. The director's brother is Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Since 2001 Anders began her career as a theatre actress. She appeared in Elaine Robinson, the Broadway version of the film's Elaine Robinson. In addition, she appeared in On the Jump at the Arena Stage, New Doors at the Guthrie Theater as well as two New York Stage & Film performances: Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders first appeared as Fat Pig Fat Pig at Geffen Playhouse on May 7, 2007. Fat Pig, which closed its doors on July 1 2007 saw Anders in the role of Jeannie a accountant. One of Anders' first TV appearances was in the commercials for Dannon that ran during the 90s, and again after 2006. Anders is best known for her role in the television series Joey (as attorney Alex Garrett) and The Class in the role of Nicole Allen (nee Campbell) as the wife of a former football player. In both instances, she was present on every episode, but the shows were cancelled. Anders was also seen making guest appearances on One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light, and Tru Calling. She appeared in five episodes on the HBO the drama Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart in 2003, as well as a brief appearance in the 2004 movie The Stepford Wives, playing the part of Heather, and the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders appeared as a character in Numb3rs (2008). Anders also appeared on two television pilots that were unsuccessful. Spellbound, News To Me. Anders His most recent performance was in Better Off Ted. This is a comedy for the workplace with only one camera and created by Victor Fresco and broadcast on ABC.
