Kellie Martin (born Kellie Marien) is an acclaimed American actor. She has starred in many films and TV shows like "Christy", a story of a girl called Christy Huddleston. In addition, she is famous as the main character in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin, born to a department store purchaser and kindergarten teacher started her career in acting when she was seven when her aunt who served as the nanny of Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin land a role in 1982 series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University in 1982, Martin began to take her acting profession more serious. She landed significant roles on television as well as on the big screen. Apart from being an actor, Martin is a skilled photographer and ballet dancer. Two daughters are hers, she's the Lupus spokesperson and spreads awareness of the illness daily since the loss of her sister at the age of 19.
