Sara Gilbert is an acclaimed American actress who has starred in many films and television shows over the course of her career. She was nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards when she was the lead character Darlene Conner Healy on the hit television show "Roseanne". Gilbert was the character as Leslie Winkle in 'The Big Bang Theory along with as the role she is most famous for in the show "Roseanne". Gilbert decided not to speak about her private life when she realized she was gay. In her early days as an actress, she was with her co-star Johnny Galecki before recognizing her sexuality. Later, she would have a relationship to producer Allison Adler.After their breakup, right before the airing the talk-show she hosted, Sara Gilbert came out publicly. From 2014 through 2019, she was married to the singer-songwriter Linda Perry.

Anders, who was raised and born at Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. She graduated from DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. After that, in 1997 she earned an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University.
