Her leading roles continue to delight viewers in films like "Trading Mom" as well as "Gold Diggers: The Mystery of Bear Mountain". There were awards she won for her performance in these films early in her career. The actress, who often missed her friends back in school when filming became disengaged from the show business in her senior years. It was then that she lost interest in performing and focusing on her studies. Anders, who was raised and born at Madison, Wisconsin but now is a resident of Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. She graduated from DeForest Area High in DeForest in 1993. After that, in 1997 she earned an undergraduate degree in fine arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University.
